Between the beaches of the Atlantic and the Pyrenees, Dax is a delightful town, located at the gates of the Basque country and a stone's throw away from Spain. Built in the forest of Les Landes next to the Adour river, it enjoys a mild climate all year round. Recognised since antiquity and famed throughout the world for its spa waters and the benefits offered by its peloid (seasoned mud), Dax has established itself today as France's leading thermal spa.
Our sites are all located in the middle of the town, each with its own spa centre where you can follow special programmes designed to help you find new energy and fitness.

4 treatments / day, including applications of peloid (Dax mud), for greater energy, to combat lasting fatigue or to do away with muscle or joint pains.
Tonic Legs (available from 6 days / 6 nights, recommended day of arrival: Sunday):
4 treatments / day, including for example a walk and carbon dioxide baths to give new energy to heavy legs and optimise blood circulation.
Applicable to all stays from 4 days: Therapy clients must present a certificate of medical aptitude.

3 hydrotherapy treatments per day.
The Discovery package is available for 2 days / 3 nights at the Grand Hôtel Mercure Splendid and the Ibis Miradour hotel, and for 1 day / 2 nights at the Dax Thermal hotel.

Grand Hôtel Mercure Splendid
A delightful establishment built in the art deco style and renovated in 1999. Located right in the centre of town, it has 161 rooms. At this hotel you will appreciate the calm friendly atmosphere and elegance typical of large establishments at the beginning of the last century. The charm of this hotel is further enhanced by the outdoor pool, its terraces and the tropical park.
Thanks to the first-class gourmet restaurant, we can also offer you a nutritional programme (subject to extra charge). This programme will help you to improve your diet without sacrificing any pleasure in eating. Throughout your stay you will receive advice from our nutritional advisor: analysis of your eating habits, personal advice session, complete nutritional monitoring and demonstration of "healthy cooking".
Ibis Miradour
This hotel has 120 rooms. It is located in the town centre next to the Adour river, just a short distance from the pedestrianised streets and the casino. Traditional and varied cuisine, served in a very congenial setting. The Miradour also offers guests the opportunity of eating at its "little bistro" at lunchtime.
Hôtel Dax Thermal
A very welcoming hotel in a quiet and wooded setting, just a stone's throw away from the town centre. It has 127 spacious rooms complete with balcony. The restaurant offers food which succeeds in uniting low-calorie food with gastronomy. The chef will take account of your nutritional requirements if you are following a special diet.
Résidence Les Thermes
A light and airy residence, built by the architect Jean Nouvel. It has 90 studios each 30m2 or so in size, including a fully equipped kitchenette. Numerous activities and events are organised: sociability is the order of the day.
